How to Easily Create Custom Photo Strips with Frosting Sheets đŸŽžïžđŸ“ž

Edible photo strips are a perfect touch if you're looking for a special and nostalgic way to make your sweets a lot more unique for any event! In this tutorial, Sevn (IG: @thecakeflorist_) walks us through the easy process of designing a photo strip on Canva which we can then print out on our Frosting Sheets.

Materials Needed:

Step 1: Design Your Photo Strip in Canva

Start by opening Canva and heading to the Elements tab. In the search bar, type “camera strip frame” and browse through the available options. Choose one that best fits your aesthetic.

Step 2: Add Your Photos

Once you've selected your frame, upload your photos into Canva. Drag and drop them into each section of the strip and it'll snap your pictures into their respective slots. This makes alignment effortless and keeps your design looking polished.

Step 3: Save and Print with an Edible Ink Printer

After finalizing your design, save your file and print it out using an edible ink printer loaded with paper2eat Frosting Sheets and paper2eat Edible Ink. This ensures vibrant, food-safe prints that look just like real photo strips.

Step 4: Cut Out Your Photo Strip

Using scissors or an X-Acto knife, carefully trim around the edges of your printed photo strip. Clean, precise cuts will give your edible design a professional finish and make it easy to place on your dessert.

Step 5: Apply to Your Dessert

Now it’s time to add your edible photo strip to your cake, cookies, or other treats. You can adhere it with a thin layer of buttercream, a bit of water, corn syrup etc. for a seamless finish.

And that's it! With just a few simple steps, you’ve created a custom edible photo strip that adds a personal touch to any dessert.
