Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy on our products, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@paper2eat.com. If your return is accepted, you may ship back the items for which you requested a return, at your own expense. We will only provide a prepaid shipping label to you if you received the wrong item or if your item is damaged/defective upon delivery or if we did not ship your order within 2 business days from the date we received your order and/or shipped it with the wrong shipping service and it therefore arrived late. In that case we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If you received a damaged/defective item you may also request a replacement rather than a refund. If your replacement request is accepted, we may ask you to ship back the damaged item first so we can inspect it. If we find the item indeed to be damaged/defective we will ship your free replacement within 2 business days from the date of inspection with the shipping service that you originally purchased for your order. At our sole discretion we may also decide to not need the damaged item returned back to us and only request a photo as proof for the damage. This however may vary from case to case. So please make sure to contact us first.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, missing or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Claims reported more than 10 days from the delivery date cannot be honored and will be at our discretion. We reserve the right to accept or decline claims submitted past that window.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Edible papers, edible inks and other items that are edible cannot be returned once opened. Please make sure to check the items you received for accuracy upon receipt of your order as they cannot be returned once opened even if the items you received were incorrectly shipped by us and not the ones you ordered. Items ordered by mistake which have been opened can also not be returned as they are no longer in sellable condition and no longer safe to sell to other customers. This is also in accordance with FDA regulations. Also excluded from returns are custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Edible Ink Printers can be returned only if they have never been used and are in their original state (in original packaging and have all accessories and packaging protectors inside such as styrofoam and tapes to keep parts of the printer closed). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards and sale items that were on sale due to short expiration date.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
