Edible ink printers are inkjet printers that require regular use and routine maintenance. They are not intended to sit unused for extended periods of time.
Unlike a standard office printer, edible ink printers use edible ink that can dry inside the cartridges and printhead if proper maintenance procedures are not followed. Regular printing, nozzle checks, cleaning cycles, and proper storage are essential to maintaining optimal performance.
If you anticipate using the printer only occasionally (for example, a few times per year), an edible ink printer may not be the right solution for your needs.
Failure to follow the recommended maintenance and storage procedures (found here) may result in clogged printheads, dried ink cartridges, poor print quality, or permanent damage to the printer.

This warranty applies only to printers sold and shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. Printers shipped outside the 48 contiguous United States are not eligible for warranty service, repair, or replacement coverage. However, paper2eat® will gladly assist with troubleshooting by phone or email.
paper2eat® provides a limited warranty of 100 days from the date of purchase for edible ink printers purchased directly from paper2eat® .
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance during the warranty period.
Most printer issues can be resolved through troubleshooting and consultation. Customers must contact paper2eat® before any warranty determination can be made.

Issues resulting from lack of maintenance, improper storage, prolonged periods of non-use, dried ink, or clogged printheads are not considered warranty defects and are not eligible for replacement coverage.

paper2eat® reserves the right to determine whether a reported issue is covered under this warranty.

Printers shipped outside the 48 contiguous United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, military addresses, freight forwarders, and international destinations, are not eligible for warranty service, repair, or replacement coverage.
paper2eat® will, however, make reasonable efforts to assist customers with troubleshooting and technical support via phone or email.
