Valentine’s Day is here, and cake artist Sevn (IG: @thecakeflorist_) is here to show you how she creates adorable custom decorations for her cupcakes using our Wafer Paper, Canva, an edible ink printer, and a simple pair of scissors.

What You’ll Need:

• Canva

• paper2eat 0.30mm Wafer Paper Standard (for the topper)

• Edible Ink & Printer (to print out your image)

• Scissors

• Frosted Cupcakes (your favorite flavor)

Step 1: Design Your Bear in Canva

Start by opening Canva and heading to the Elements tab. Type in “Valentine’s Day bear” and browse until you find the cutest bear design. To make it even more special, add a pink bow! Adjust the color grading of the bow so it matches the bear's heart color for a cohesive look.

Step 2: Print Your Design on Wafer Paper

Once your design is finalized, print it onto paper2eat 0.30mm Wafer Paper Standard using an edible ink printer. 

Step 3: Cut Out Your Edible Topper

No cutting machines needed, just grab a good old pair of scissors and carefully cut around the edges of your bear design.


Step 4: Decorate Your Cupcakes

Pipe your cupcakes with buttercream or frosting of your choice. Then, gently place the Wafer Paper edible print of your bear on top, pressing lightly to secure it.

Step 5: Admire Your Custom Cupcakes!

That’s it! Your adorable, edible bear cupcake toppers are ready! These make a fun, personalized treat for Valentine’s Day parties, gifts, or just a sweet little indulgence for yourself.
