How to Add Edible Designs to Tiramisu with Miracle Transfer Sheets!
October 29, 2026
Who said tiramisu had to be an ordinary dessert? Denise (@denises_delights_) gave this classic Italian treat a fun makeover with a custom edible design made using paper2eat Miracle Transfer Sheets! Since she was putting this together during the month of October, she went for a more spooky design with this one and named it...wait for it...Tiramisboo.
The real magic happened when Denise adds a custom white chocolate topper featuring a printed image. It's such simple way to give your dessert a fun, personalized finish, you might not believe how easily she was able to do it!
A) Start by brewing your espresso or plain coffee. You'll use it to soak the ladyfingers, giving them that classic tiramisu flavor. Let the coffee cool enough to handle before dipping your ladyfingers.
B) Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee, then arrange them in your serving dish to form the first layer.
Spread the mascarpone cheese mixture over the ladyfingers, followed by a dusting of cocoa powder. Repeat the layers until your tiramisu is assembled, finishing with a smooth top that's ready for your custom decoration.
Step 2: Print Your Design
Now for the fun part! Choose a spooky image for your tiramisu and print it onto a paper2eat Miracle Transfer Sheet using edible ink.
You can customize your design to suit your theme, whether you want something eerie, playful, or a little bit mysterious.
Step 3: Spread the White Chocolate
Melt your white chocolate until smooth, then spread it directly over the printed design on your Miracle Transfer Sheet, covering the image evenly.
Let it sit for a few seconds so the chocolate begins to set slightly and isn't too runny. You want it to be spreadable while still holding its shape when you transfer it.
Step 4: Transfer the Design
Carefully flip the sheet over onto the top of your tiramisu, positioning the printed design where you want it.
Place the tiramisu in the freezer for a few minutes to help the white chocolate set. Keep an eye on it so the chocolate firms up without leaving it in longer than necessary.
Step 5: Peel Away the Transfer Sheet
Once the white chocolate has set, gently peel away the Miracle Transfer Sheet to reveal your edible design! The backing should lift away beautifully, leaving the printed image transferred onto the white chocolate topper.
And just like that, you have a customized tiramisu with a chocolate shell you can smash with a spoon and dig into. Just as fun to look at as it is to eat!
With paper2eat Miracle Transfer Sheets, you can turn a classic dessert that doesn't traditionally feature designs and turn it into a custom creation with detailed art in just a few simple steps.
