This trend has not stopped popping up all over baking and cake decorating feeds for a while now, and we honestly understand the hype. It's a statement cake EVERY time. Bakers love making them, and clients love ordering them! 🫶

Speaking of bakers who love making them, Marilin (@cake.coutureco) practically dreams in leopard print, and we wanted to share how she consistently uses our Frosting Sheets and her own extra glam techniques to add her own flair to this seemingly everlasting trend.

Let's walk you through how she made this one!

Materials You’ll Need:

• paper2eat Frosting Sheets

• paper2eat Edible Ink Cartridges

• Edible Ink Printer

• Clean scissors
  

• Buttercream

• Red decorations, ribbons, glitter, or other finishing touches

Step 1: Print Your Leopard Pattern 🐆

Start by printing your favorite leopard print design onto a paper2eat Frosting Sheet using edible ink.

Marilin printed her design on our Frosting Sheets and let the bold, bright colors do the work. If you want a leopard print that's going to really stand out, don't be afraid to go bright, bold, and vibrant!

Step 2: Apply Your Frosting Sheets

Once your cake is frosted and ready to go, carefully place the Frosting Sheets around the cake, making sure the pattern lines up nicely.

Smooth the sheets gently onto the frosting to help them adhere to the surface and avoid any air bubbles.

And just like that...you've got a whole lot of leopard without having to pipe every single spot by hand! 👏

Step 3: Pipe Your Borders 

After applying her sheets directly on her cake, she piped her thick buttercream borders on the top and bottom to match that same soft brown color on her printed pattern.

Step 4: Add Pops of Red 🍒

To tie the whole look together, she added little pops of red throughout the cake with red bows and red cherries, which really brought out the leopard print beautifully and gave the cake that fun, chic feel.

Step 5: Finish With Sparkle ✨

Of course, no cake from Marilin is ever complete without a little sparkle! She finished off her cake with a few pumps of edible glitter for that signature extra touch. Because if you're already making a leopard print cake this fabulous, you might as well go all the way! ✨
