Compared to the Wafer Paper Standard, the Wafer Paper Premium is thicker, more solid and less transparent. Due to its thickness it is recommended for jobs for which you want to punch out shapes and want it to stand up straight on a cupcake for instance or if you apply it to a surface which is not white and you don’t want the color of the surface to shine through it. It has the same texture as the Wafer Paper Standard but isn’t as flexible. It is still flexible enough to be used for food prints in an edible printer though.
